We have our first dog, a Chihuahua. I thought this little collapsible bowl would be great for the car. Yes, it's very compact when folded down so can sit comfortably in a door pocket. When needed it folds open and then pushes out accordion style to full depth. Great for our tiny dog, but perhaps a bit small for larger breeds. It's collapsible because it's made of soft silicone rubber, and I have some reservations about just how often it will fold/unfold before tearing. The bowls are ribbed, making cleaning a but awkward once any residual wet food has dried in- best used with dry kibble. Great idea, but be aware of small size and possible fragility.
